Recent posts have been under the topic of how INFPs interact with other types in relationships, platonic or otherwise.

I'd like some opinions on the best and worst types of pairings INFPs can have, and what are the good stuff and the problems that come out of being together with an ISFJ. I think the it'll be somewhat difficult given the differing emotional capacities the two types have, and they way they perceive and express things.

A lot of my friends thought this was funny, so I thought I'd share here too.

I teach first grade, and this week we are working on L blends at the beginning of words. One of their language arts centers was to come up with as many words that start with L blends as they could. They did really well, but as I was looking the papers over I saw ( this )

I have found that my pens stay in my classroom far longer when they are distinct. I saw this idea at my dentist's office and I transferred it to my classroom. I have pens and pencils (both regular and mechanical) in a pot with purple and pink artificial flowers attached. It looks cute on my desk and the kids seem to remember their own writing utensils more than they used to (especially the boys). When they do need to borrow one, they are having less trouble returning them before they leave.

The youtube video is a bit more complex than my version. I just bought flowers at the dollar store, a terracotta pot for 1.29 and floral tape for 2.50 at the craft store.

Today, my kindergarteners were discussing whether or not "Fox" is a bad word. Some thought yes, others thought no. One little girl piped up, "Fox isn't, but FUCK is."

She was very matter-of-fact about this, lol. After I laughed my ass off in my head, I calmly explained to her and the class that it is not okay to use swear words, even as examples.

I'm looking for recommendations for dentists in the Midtown/downtown area; my insurance is changing and my current dentist is no longer in-network...I need someone who's in Cigna's Dental HMO. Any pointers?

As such, I'll recommend Dr. Bordeaux to anyone else who's looking - I wouldn't be switching away from him if I didn't have to.

Okay, so my class (the big grade 10 class) that has been giving me major issues is behaving. That is after a chat with a couple moms.

Now it is my large grade 11 ELA class. I swear I must have stepped into another world. And this week, of all weeks, for one of the incidents.

1. Catch a student with swastikas all over one of his sheets in his binder. The. Day. Before. Rememberance Day.

2. I am way too generous and told students to have assignments in by 1pm at the school today. One student shows up to give it to me. The rest are getting 0's that haven't (who don't have extentions from being sick) as marks are due tomorrow morning. I know most of them were at a party last night. Obviously social life, etc. means more. I don't really care as it was their choice. Just dumb. Class average will suck for this report card.

3. A student hands in their assignment sheet (the rubric with instructions) with an ejaculating penis drawn on it and WANK in huge letters at the bottom. Okay, this is kind of funny. But completely inappropriate.

And to put the icing on the cake ...

4. I was reading an assignment. I felt like I was having deja vu reading it. Hadn't I just read it? I look at the assignment I had just finished grading and both of them are word-for-word the exact same. I am serious. To top it all off these are two top students in my class.

WHAT the HECK is going on with them? I swear, I am in an alternate universe! I don't pretend to really understand anyone but ... Really! I will be having a major talk with the VP tomorrow about racism and plagairism (sp).

so does anyone know where in this city (preferably in midtown/buckhead/sandy springs) i could pick up Bawls energy drink? i'm a grad student at Tech, and with finals coming up i could definitely use some. it's the only energy drink that doesn't taste terrible to me. Target used to carry it down here, but they seem to have dropped it.

any suggestions?
