Whopee dee doo da
I will be going for the prayer group session tonight. I think its a step in the right direction and hopefully will lead to good things (aka new friendships and a renewal of my faith). I am a little nervous though. I really hate new situations and am shy around new people. The person I emailed seems nice and welcoming which is a good sign. Actually to say a little nervous is wrong.. I am alot nervous.

I often read the random journal listings, and came across yours. It struck me as interesting because it was the first entry I came across after reading about 100 that had any soul in it. It was also interesting in the sense that my father is re-entering his church after a few years of not attending. Ièm an athiest myself, but that doesnèt mean that I disrespect the thoughts and beliefs of others, well, not usually, I can get quite cynical.

Anyways, id just like to say that thereès no reason to be nervous, the christian church (im assuming its christian) is about acceptance, and theyèll more likely than not welcome you with open arms. Also on the same token thereès no real reason to feel the need to go if youre only renewing faith. These things come from within...religion and faith are two very different topics.

Sorry to be a mensch of sorts:) I just felt the nessecity of putting m 2 cents in.

PS I scanned your interest list and was very impressed with your music taste, I just had moldy peaches on this morning...and the pixies and belle et sebastion are easily on my top 100 bands list...kudos;)

well hi there. :) Thanks for the reassurance. You were right that everyone was welcoming. I am glad I went. I think the most difficult part is ovr. I know what you mean about faith coming from within. What I really need is fellowship to share my faith with mainly because its been lonely living it alone. And yay for great musical tastes!!
